My favorite event of the year is the annual Holiday Bazaar supporting the spcaLA! I mean, how can anyone not want to help all the furbabies?!
This year, in addition to their in-person event, they are hosting a virtual event as well.

How does it work?
- You bring any kids items (clothing, toys, gear, maternity stuff, etc.) that you no longer need/use.
- Everything will get put out by category and then by age.
- Once everything is placed out, you can begin to look around for things you need!
Hand me downs are such lifesavers and this is a great way to pass on the love! This is also a great way to help the environment by reusing and giving new life to what we have.

Botanical Medicine Making
Join Caitlin Yoshioka from The Willow Field for an interactive experience where you will get to feel, smell and use plants as medicine. Workshop attendees will be treated to a hands-on creation session where they will learn about using plants to make simple medicinal remedies, including how to use herbs to treat inflammation and sore muscles. Each attendee will be able to make and bring home their own herbal muscle balm in a biodegradable container. This workshop is open to all ages and can be a fun experience for youth as well as their parents.
